STOCK REPORT Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having an exceptionally good entry of sheep at iheir Mangaweka Fair on Thursday, 13th Febinary; (he majority of tbe entries comprising ewes of good quality. There was a very good attendance of ontside and local buyers and competition was keen throughout the day. The following are principal sules made —On account W F Stevens, 291 5 year ewes 3ls Bd, 162 4-tooth "to 4-year "ewes 80s 8d , on account A C Morton, 288 4 and 5year ewes 3s 7d; |,on account Mrs A Hall, SS 4-year ewes 28s 7d ; on fcacoount Foxe’s Estate, 116 4-tooth ewes2Ss; on account J Lisaette, 150 4-tooth ewes“2Bs'; on account G G direr 230 4 and 5 year ewes 375; on account G G Wilson. 400 4 and 5 year ewes 26s 9d; on account S S Haign, 143 4-tooth and 5-year ewes 265; on account Bonner and TMunro, 135 4 ewes 255; several 4 and 5 year ewes sold ‘at 22s to 23s 9d; 2-t Doth ewes small. 18s lOd to 20s 61; small lambs, 7s lOd to 9s Bd.

Abraham and Williams Ltd., re port on Marton sale held on Tuesday —Good yardings of aheap ;and cattle came to hard and were disposed of at the following rates:—4 and 5 year ewes 35s 6d, cull ewes 11s 6d, 2-tooth ewes 25s 6d to 26s 3d, small do 20s 6d, to 21s 6d, m.s. woolly lambs 19s, b.f. do 13a 9d, m.s. shorn lambs 13s 9d to 14s Sd, small do 10s to 10s 6d, cnli do 5s to 7s Sd, fat lambs 22s 6d, fat b.f. 2-fcootns 31s 9d, fat ewes 23s 3d to 24i 3d, fat wethers 33s 6d, heifers m.s. weaners 23s to 30?, fat heifers to £S 17a 6d. We also offered the property at Mt Curl known as “Landswood” in two section, each of which realised £34 10s.

After the sale a number of sections in the Kotiata Domain were offered, several of which were sold at prices from £1 to 255.
