THE DRIVERS’ STRIKE.

(Per Press Association.) Auckland, February 6. At a stop-work meeting of the Auckland Drivers’ Union to-day, it was resolved to introduce the boycott system cn Ifirms taking an active part at the recent Wellington conference in opposing tbe granting of what the union considered reasonable conditions of employment; also to ask tbe wstersiders ana railwayman to refuse to handle any goods of transport going through these firms; the union also resolved' that in future drivers shall not ‘attend before 8 a.m. and'shall return to tbe stable in time to leave at 5 p.m.
