The story opens in the offices of an Amsterdam Diamond cutter who entrusts an enormous jewel to the custody of the hero The latter takes elaborate precautions to keep the big stone safe, hut the desperate gang cleverly defeats him. A vain and obstinate Scotland Yard official arrests him as the culprit, and it is only after much ingenuity and many strange adventures that Sylvia rescues the hero from his predicament. The photography is good, and the whole drama is quite uni que production. The suppporting cast is exceptionally strong.

PEG OF MY HEART. SATURDAY, SEPT. 14th. Messrs J. and N. Tait, have made arragements to stage “Peg of My Heart” in Martou, on Saturday, September 14th, and theatre goers can look forward to something out of the ordinary.
