Sir Douglas Haig reportsOn the southern part of the battle front both northward, and southward of Peroune, we are advancing, driving iu the enemy’s rearguards, and approaching the high ground on the Athies-Nurlu front. Between Nnilu and the Sensee river there have been iu different parts. We slightly'advnnced on the spur northward of Equaucourt. Local fighting occurred about Neuville-Bourionval and' Moeuvres. Patrols crossed to the east bank of the Canal du Nord southward of Marquion. * % The enemy oh the Lys front again strongly attacked in the sector northward of Hill 63, but was repulsed after hard fighting. We advanced a short distance soutluvard and south-eastward of Nieppee, and north-eastward of Wulverghem.
