Trial Hurdles, 1 % miles,— Jeannot I, Tornea 3, Master Scratched Turehua and Vascular. Won by three lengths, half v a length between second and third. Time, ‘hiiin. 22 4-5 secs. Grand National Hurdles, 2>s miles.—Kauri King 1, Sir Solo 2, Art o. All started. Kauri King was in charge before the last hurdle. He won easily by three lengths, four lengths between feecond and third. Time, 4miu. 48 2-ssecs. Avonhend Handicap, G furlongs. Hastie 1, Silver and Black 2, Jingo J. Scratched Ardmore and Whiro Won by a length. Time, Imiu. 15 4-Weca.
