MANAWAHJ HUNT POINT TO POINT STEEPLECHASES,

The above Hunt will hold Point-to-Point Steeplechases at Mr E. Short’s property, “Almadale,” near Feilding, on Saturday, August 24th, commencing at 2 p.m. The programme consists of two steeplechase events, ladies bracelet (flat) and a hurdle race, and all events are for qualified hunters. Some splendid trophies have been received for the four events, acd a good afternoon’s sport is promised. The gate charges are moderate, being 2s Gd for gentlemen, and 2s for ladies; and afternoon tea will he dispensed free to all.
