SHORTHORN CATTLE BREEDERS' ASSOCIATION.
Per Preie Association. Christchurch, August 14. The annual meeting of the Kew Zealand Shorthorn Cattle Breeders’ Association was held to<lay. The report showed there were 307 bulls and 787 cows in the Herd Book. There have been 124 transfers. The financial statement disclosed a credit balance of £B4 2s Id for the year. £IOO had been invested in war ioau certificates, Mr R. E. Alexander (Lincoln), was elected president, Mr W. P. Archibald (Hawke’s Bay) vice-president, Mr A. D. McMaster (North Islandl, director members’ council.
