FARMERS 1 UNION CANDIDATE.

On Friday night a social evening will be held in Mr O. Jefferson’s woolshed at South Makirikiri in order to raise funds for the Farmers’ baby. Progressive euehre and dancing will form part of the evening’s pleasure—euchre from 8 to 9.30 and dancing from 9.30 to 11 p. m. RETURNED SOLDIERS’ BABY. This evening a social and danee takes place in Mr Isaac Jefferson’s woolshed on (Jiiff Line in support of the Returned Soldiers’ candidate. An enjoyable evening’s entertainment can be relied upon, and the floor is excellent for dancing. CITIZENS’ BAND NOMINEE. Progressive euchre in the Town Hail supper.rooms is the means by which the runners of this baby hope to coin some money to-morrow evening. Admission is la 6d and supper will ba provided. On the 20th they are also holding a grand masquerade ball.
