ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

Taumarunui, AngustilO. Mauson, of the firm of Manson and Clark, sawmillers, met with a serious accident yesterday at the Oio mill, which euded fatally. Deceased was adjusting a belt on a pulley when he became entangled and was pulled round. His right arm was torn off and be was thrown with such force twelve feet away that his right leg was broken. The sufferer was brought to the Taumarunui hospital, where tne leg was amputated, but Mauson died later. ueceaaed was formerly a Napier resident, and leaves a wife and two children.
