Reaction is very marked on the front at Roye, but southward the enemy does not seem to have so jaiunv guns, though plentifully supplied with machine guns, preventing the French moving rapidly. Thirty-one divisions have been identified, including eight frem Von Marwitz’s army. These were completely overrun. We secured prisoners, not only on the front lines but from rear services, such as divisional stall's and trained detachments. Their looses were very heavy, and we may consider these divisions out of action for the time being. A SECTOR’S UNCHARGED SITUATION London, August 12.
