CONFERENCE OF MILITARY OFFICERS
Wellington, Aug. 11. - The Conference of Officers promised the Minister in his memorandum to the Defence Expenditure Commission report will he held in Wellington, commencing ou Tuesday next. The officers attending will he District Commandants and head of the Defence Department. The conference will examiuue thoroughly the various suggestions and recommendations mentioned in the report.
