London, August 11. A French communique states; Our attacks on the Avre tinned all day with increasing cess. Montdidier was outiianked east and north and fell during the morning. Continuing our victorious advance on the right of the British, we pushed ten kilometres east of Montdidier on the front AndochyLa Boasiere-Freschamps. Extending the action south-east-ward, we attacked German positions on the right and left of St. JustRoye road on a front of twenty kilometres. (St. Just is S.W. of Montdidier). We captured Rollot, Orvillers, Sorel Ressons-Sur Matz, Conchy, Les Pots, Neuville, Sur Ressiocs and Elineourt, advancing ten kilometres at certain points. Following up the advance on the right of the British Fourth Army, our troops to-day scored fresh successes. After breaking the resistance of the enemy, we carried the villages of Pierre Pout, Oontior, Hangeste-en-Santeri* I '. We also captured Arvillers, Our progress in this direction since yesterday morning has atained a depth of fourteen kilometres. Besides a considerable quantity of material, we have captured 4000 prisoners. Our losses, like the British, have been particulaily light. Our troops operating on the rignt of the British, pursued the success of Inst evening. During the night we progressed feast of Ardvilles, and captured Davenscourt. Attacking south of Montdidier, between Avencourt and Le Fretuoy, we took Ruhescourt and Assaiuvillere and reached Faverolles. FRENCH CAPTURES. London, August 11. The French, in three days’ fighting, have advanced twenty kilometres along the Amions-Roye road, and captured over 8000 prisoners. We have counted up to the present 200 guns among the enormous material.
