The Piess Bureau states: The Executive of the Miners’ Federation in Britain, in a manifesto, strenuously' appeals to the miners to loyally assist to carry' out the Executive’s pledge to the Government to do the utmost to increase the output of coal. The manifesto emphasises the increased demands of Allies and neutrals, aud also points out that by supplying neutrals we received foodstuffs, likewise raw materials necessary for the prosecution of the war. Besides that, wo have the use of their shipping, which is of-the utmost importance at the present time.
