A Government Commission recommended governmental control of through railways, administration of all stock yards, treat them n freight depots, ensuring open competition, also the monopolisation of all codd storage oars;- branch nouses and rolling stock needed for the transport cf the same. The object ol the recommendations is to suppress combines controlling the meat trade.
