AN INTERESTING JUDGMENT.

REGARDING MARBLE BARS, Per Press Association. Wellington, Feb. 21. ■An important judgment, declaring in effect that Sunday trading in Marble Bars and similar establishments is not illegal, was delivered in the .Supremo Court by the Chief Justice. The case was an appeal brought by managers of three city establishments against criticism by Mr McCarthy, S.M., on a chnrgoof keeping shops open on Smithy. The magistrate found that the simps were open of necessity for tin* supply of refreshments to certain people.
