Dalgoty and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having a very fair entry of sheep at their Marton sale on Monday, the 2.7 th inst., which sold as below. Sheep:— Small lambs 8s Pd to 12s, blackface lambs 12s to 17s, aged ewes 8s to 11s -Id, mixed age ewe ISs to 21s (Id, 2th ewes 29s Del to Sis -Id, mixed 2th •22s 7(1, light fat owes 275. Cattle:— Small weanors 60s, dairy heifers close drop £l2 to £ls 16s for extra good. . We held cur annual Sheep f air at Feilding on Fridsy last as follows. Wo had a fair yarding and nearly every lino dunged hands at satisfactory prices to vendors. There was an exceptionally _ large attendance of buyers t.nd bidding was Yerv keen throughout the sale, good stuff realising big prices. Following arc quotaions: —Account H. Lambert, 2th owes £2 2s, 4 and Gtli ewes £2 Ids, 4th to 4yr ewes £2 12s. On account W. G. Pearce 2th ewes £2 6s; on account F, h. Jackson, 4 find syr owes 27s 0.1, a lino of '7OO 4yr ewes on account S. Williamson realised from 68s 4d to 80s. Other quotations are;—2th ewes 27s 7d to 60s, 4 and 7yr ewes 245, aged fat ewes 265, medium rape lambs 16s 2d to 16s 6d, cull Jambs 4s.
