MANGAWEKA NOTES.

From Our Own Correspondent. The Girls’ jtJandago Club desires to return sincere thanks to Mrs A. Adamson, of Manga weka, for a donation from her of fifteen yards of calico to bo used for bandages. The next Mnngaweka stock sale will be held on the 7th March, thus bringing the incoming series into line with the usual winter schedule.

A mob of 4000 sheep arrived in thelocal sale yards on Saturday, aftera trek that had already lasted a week. They were subsequently driven to Ohiugaiti, where it is uudertood they took train for the rest of their journey. It has not yet been decided what form the Maugdweka campaign on behalf of “Red Triangle Day” will take. A public meeting will ho called this week, it is understood, and two or three schemes are under: consideration. W’anted, a leader.
