Of 49,754 members of the Expeditionary Forces returned to* the Oomonwealth to the 31st December last, 40,333 saw no service or failed to pass the standard set by the medical authorities in England, and were sent back as unfit. The Minister of Defence is perplexed at this result of conflicting opinions ; as to the medical standard,.
