The German democrats could never do likewise. The Bolsheviks have strengthened German Imperialism and made an effective tight against it most difficult.” The Vienna Arbeitor Zeitung says: A separate neace with Russia only Russia only makes u general peace the more remote, because America, -Britain, and France will light to the bitter end. It declares that Austria needs a general peace, and hence sue does not rejoice at Germany’s pyrrliic victory over Russia. . The Leip/.iger Volks Zeitung says: The Russian Government’s latest rapid move lias upset the carefully prepared game of the German Government, which does not want peace.
