[Per Press Association.] Wellington, Feb. 2(1. At the annual meeting of the Now Zealand branch of the Empire Press Union which is largely attended by press men from all parts of the Dominion.

The chairman, Mr G. Fenwick, delivered an interesting speech on the objects and work of the Union. A useful discussion took place on his motion for the adoption of the report balance sheet. Mr Fenwick was re-elected chairman, and the retiring committee ‘ was also reelected.
