ALLEGED MURDER AT KARIOI.
A report has been received by Inspector Hendry, of Wanganui, indicating that a tragedy occurred at Karioi atmaiduight on Saturday* It is alleged that a man named John Robinson killed another man, Peter Larsen, ; by striking him on the head.
These are the only particulars that were available last night, and prompt steps are being taken to investigate the alleged crime.
