At reildip.fi yesterday afternoon ■; ;;ere was a pretty procession, mostly of school chilrden in fancy •dresses, and afterwards dancing in one of the grass plots for the purpose of making a "collection in aid of 'he Salvation Army Trench Fund. Tim procession was headed by the Salvation Army Band, followed by children on horseback, then of children in ordinary dress followed by parties of boys and girls in fancy cresses predominating of bright colours. The boy- represented all sorts of characters from the Sultan of Turkov to the humble svvagman with his'billy and tin cup; a party of girls on decorated bicycles dreseed in white; girls in Japanese costums, little children in fancy dresses with their carts, and little tricvclts decorated. Mock gnus ,:nd*a ship were in the procession, some horses and traps and many decorated motor cars, the whole making a very pretty display. . 1 «3*aw!irt ninpfl
