THE GUNS COMMENCE TO ROAR. ALONG THE WHOLE FRENCH FRONT Received Feb. 23, 10 a.m. Loudon, Feb. 22. A great artillery battle has begun along the entire French front. A FRENCH REPORT. FRANCO-GERMAN CANNONADE French communique: There is fairly lively reciprocal artillerying on the whole front, especially in tiie regions of Pinon, Vauxaillou, Malmaison, Pontayrt, Gudecourt and Butte de Mesuil. Three German aeroplanes were brought down and two forced down into their own lines, seriously damaged. Wireless German official: Wo have entered Minesk.
