SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIP. Per Press Association. Wanganui, Feh. 22, The Dominion Schools Swimming Championships were concluded this evening in the presence of a large attendance of spectators. Results: — Boys’ 100 yards championship.— Voa Sturmer, Auckland, 1; Batchelor, Christchurch, 2; Johnston, Wanganui. Also swam; Boogan and Claride, of Wellington, Perry of Otago, and Quirk, -Wanganui. Won by five yards. Time, 70 l-osec. Girls’ intermediate championship, 75 yards.— Miss|Edenhorough, Anck» land, 1; Miss Buckamster, Wellington, 2; Miss Batchelor, Christchurch, 3. Won by a narrow margin alter a splendid race. Time, 00 3-ssec. Girls’ 100 yards championship.—• Miss Walroad, Auckland, 1; Miss Shand, Christchurch, 2; Miss Nuttail, Napier, 3. Also swam: Misses Bristol of Christchurch, Pos'of Wellington, and Braid of Wanganui.* Won by two yards afer a line finish. Time, 91 2-ssec. Boys’ intermediate championship, 220 yards.—Low, Christchurch, 1 .ahlers, Auckland, 2; Mussell, Wellington, 3, Also swam: Reid of Wanganui and Solitt of Palmerston North. Ahlers led to near the end. of the race, when Low took the lead and won by a few yards. Time, 2min 59sec.
