Wheat. —Market very quiet, and notihng doing owing to the absence of offers. Official quotations have hot been altered. Oats. —Market quiet, with no alteration in prices.

STOCK REPORT. Dalgoty and Co., report having held their opening sale in the Owhango yards on 'Thursday 24, tli January. There was a fair yarding of sheep and a good one of cattle. Local and outside buyers were in good attendance but competition was not particularly keen, and several lines were passed, the bulk of the yarding being quitted however before the end of tne day. Prices realised were as follows; — S.m. ewes IGs 6d to 19s, forward 4th wethers 29s 2d, 2th wethers 275, cull lambs 4s Bd. Fat cows £ll 7s 6d to £l3 10s, forward cows £8 to £9 17s (id, store cows £6 to £7 17s 6d, Syr heifers £7 17s Cd, 18 month to 2yr heifers £G, yearling heifers £4 1s (id, m.s. weanors £3 8s to £4 Gs. At Raotihi on 25th a small yarding of sheep and cattle met with a fair reception at the hands of the usual attendance of buyers. Quota-tions;—-M.S. 2th 255, medium shorn lambs 11s Gd, cull do. 4s lOd.
