DOMINION BOY SCOUTS.

THE FIELDING CAMP. There is every reason to believe tyvit the coming Boy Scout camp, at Feilding, will be a great success. In addition to troops from Palmerston, Shannon, Moutoa, Dannevirke, Hunterville, Marton and Bulls, the camp secretary, Scoutmistress N. Wilson, has received word that Takapau, Norsewood, Rongotea, and W mganui will be represented. The troop from Wanganui will include a patrol of the well-known Gonville Sea Scouts. It is now estimated that including scoutmasters and mistresses, about 200 will be under canvas. Arrangements in connection with the camp are well in hand. The camp committee are indebted *o the Education Board, who have kindly loaned two “Roberts” military cooking stoves and these wil be of great assistance. The public have also come forward most generously and food and material of alljjdescriptions have been promised. The boys go into camp bn Wednesday next and are greatly excited in consequence. It is unfortunate that a scout troop does not exist in Feilding as it would have been of great assistance.

Bulls scouts will bo strongly represented and leave for camp by dray on Wednesday morning. The Bull’s depot for supplies, is Mr Gurruther’s residence, where assistant Scoutmistress Ourruther is attending to the packing.
