CITY IN A STATE 8F SIEGE. ADMIRALS BEING ABOLISHED. II outer. Hccoived Dec. 21, 3 p. m. Petrogrnd,'Dec. 19. The city has been declared in a state of siege. All street gatherings are prohibited and none allowed out after nine at night. An order Irs been- issued for transferring tlio administration of tlio lleets to Central Committees and all dishing admirals. The Committees will appoint Boards to direct naval operations.
FIGHTING IN THE UKRAINE
BOLSHEVIKS’ LEADER KILLED. AN ARMiSTiQE ARRANGED. Odessa telegrams report that after three days’ sanguinary lighting between tile Ukrainians and Bolsheviks the latter’s leader was killed and an armistice arranged. Criminals are pillaging houses and shops, hut it is probable that order will soon ho restored.
