Argentine beef, no supplies available and no quotations. Butter. —All descriptions of butter is very scarce; no official quotations with exception of Paris 256 s Sd and Dutch 2295. Danish and Dutch itt small shipments. There is dissatisfaction on ccou’nt of the fixed maximum prices. Cheese. —Cheese is in small supply. English Cheddar 1425, all others afcGovernment prices. Hemp.—Manila and New Zealand markets no cfiange ;stocks hero at 31st October this year are: Manila 15,134 tons,. New Zealand 562 tons, against 7394 tons and 443 tons respectively last year. The Manila output this year, up to November 12th, is 1,085 000 bales, against 1,039,000 bales last year. Cocksfoot. —Market firm, but little doing. Good Danish is quoted at £8 5s ex warehouse.
