NEW UNSINKABLES.
A FRENCH CONTRIVANCE. FOR FLOATING THOUGH TORPEDOED. Received Nov. 20, Oa.m. New York, Nov. 10. French interests have asked the Government for assistance in building believedly unsinkable ships, divided into compartments with cylinders running the whole length of the vessels. These have stood the tests and proved their immunity from sinking by torpedoes.
