INLAND POSTAGE RATES.

Alterations in rates of postage of inland packets and parcels as from Monday, 15th October, 1917: —

INLAND PACKETS,

Comprising commercial papers, hooks and printed papers, patterns and sample packets and unregistered magazines:— For each 2ozs. or fraction thereof up to 11b, J^d. For each additional 11b up to 51bs, 2d.

An additional war tax must bo added to each packet. Packets weighing more than slbs must be sent as parcel post.

INLAND PARCELS. For first lib, 4d, each additional lb. up to (3 lbs., 2d. For 71bs, Is 3d. Each additional lb np to 281b5., Id. An additional _}-«d war tax to be added to each parcel. A payment of an additional fee of fid for sender of an inland parcel mav have it marked ‘‘FRAGILE” and forwarded to destination in a hamper. Inland parcels on which the special fee of 6d is NOT paid will be forwarded to destination in bags.
