From Our Own Correspondent. - On Tuesday last the Red CroflCk Shop was conducted by MesdaravoW. J. Ba’Mlett and Green, and the Misses Bartlett and Livingstone. The shop was well stocked with produce, which ,was sold at a reasonable figure. At a recent meeting of the .young ladies’ hockey team, a hearty vote of thanks swa passed to the Evans, who has so capably acted »9 referee during the past season. It was decided to hold a hockey dunce in the Argyle Hall, on Friday,' October 19tfa, any funds after paying oxpauses to be donated to patriotic funds.
