PARLIAMENTARIANS ON TOUR.

Per Press Association. Auckland, Oct. 16. Mr Parr, of New Zealand, and nine Australian members of the Parliamentary touring party, returned by the Makura to-day. Starting in July, they completed almost a world tonr of British territory and British ships. They were fcondncted over the ammunition works in England and visited the naval bases and witnessed Fleet operations. They had important conferences with the British Cabinet Ministers, visited Paris; and conferred with the President and Premier, visited the fighting front held by their respective troops. The New Zealand members got- into the front lino of trenches, where things- were temporarily quiet. The Australians saw their soldiers jnst after they had been in action and conversed with the wounded. Some of (he party had a trip; in a biplane and others ascended in observation balloons. v
