INTENSELY STUBBORN FIGHTING ENEMY ATTACKS FAIL. ( Australian and N.Z. Cable Associa tion. Received Oct. 17, 10.45 a.m. Loudon, Oct 36. A Russian communique states that there is stubborn fighting north of Koryiuitza, the enemy using gas grenades. We drove back the enemy, who attempted to advance north of Stanislav, Fierce attacks at Konozmeo and Kirlibaba failed. The enemy jg strongly on the offensive sontn of Dornawatra.
