BULLS PATRIOTIC SOCIETY.

The usual meeting of the Bull s i Sanson, Carnarvon. Ohakea an 1 * Lower Rangitikei War Relief Fund was held on Monday last. Present : Messrs J. H. Porrett, W, E. Pearce, W. S. Penny. W. J. Phillips, a. K. Drew, G. Bliiss, J. B. Walker, A. Brown, H. McMauaway, A. K. Egliuton and Jas McKelvle, (chair). Letters were received from the Public Trustee. Base Records and Advisory Board. It was decided to donate £2OO to the British Red Cross appeal, and not to have a special canvass for the appeal. War Contingent’s Association paper, —It was decided to order fifty copies of the paper and to subscribe to it half-yearly. All in the room put tliolr name down for copies, which will cost Os Od per half year. The paper is issued in London by Mr Olntha N. Mackenzie, and gives a list of all New Zealanders in Hospitals, those killed and the movements of the New Zealanc’ers, also other matters of interest. Anjrone wishing to subscribe kindly notify as desired to the secretary and the paper will be posted. It is issued fortnightly. A sum of £3O was granted to 'n widow whose support is at the front, and 10s a week to a father whose only support is also at the front. Reports were asked for by the Executive with regard to two other oases where it was considered that dependents were suffering by relations going to the front.
