GOOD WORK DONE.
THEY SCATTER [THE TURKS
Received Oct. 16, 12.35 p.m. Petrograd, Oct, 15.
British armoured cars, under the command of Locker Hampson, had exciting times in Asia Minor. They were operating 400 miles from the rail head, dependent on bullock tracks over the mountains. They were hauled over precipices and through bogs, the damaged tanks being ingeniously patched with shaving soap and medical plaster. Travelling night and day they did much excellent work, scattering the Turks.
One squadron is now operating in Persia, south of Lake Urmia.
