MARRIAGE.

The Methodist Church, Grey street, Feilding, was the scene of a very popular wedding on Wednesday, the 18th inst. The parties, are descendants of very old identities of the Feilding and Halcombe districts. The bride, Clarice Omelia, fourth daughter of Mrs E. H. Thompson, East Street, Feilding, was united in matrimony to Charles Henry, third son of Mr James Managh, farmer, of Halcombe. The Rev. P. W. Jones was the' officiating minister, and the bride was given away by the Rev. F. Boys, of Palmerston North. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Gerty Thompson, and Mr Tnomas Hicks acted as best man. The bride looked exceedingly smart in a beautiful white satin dress, and also wore the customary orange blossoms and court train. Her sister wore a handsome dress of pink crepe de chine with bat to match. They carried beautiful bouquets. The bridegroom’s present to the bride was a substantial cheque. Mrs J. Managh was dressed in a navy blue costume and Mrs Thompson in black crepe de chine. The wedding breakfast was held in the Carlton Tea Rooms, where the usual toasts were duly honoured. The happy couple afterwards left by motor for the south. Their future home will be in Halcombe.
