AT a Special Meeting of the Eangitikei County Council held on the 6th day of May, 1916, a resolution was passed by way of Special Order authorising the raising under the provisions of Section 16(e) of ‘‘ The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1918,” of a Special Loan of £650 for the purpose of metalling the Pukepapa and Stuarts Eoads from their junction with the BullsTurakina Road to their junction with the Lake Alice Eoad, and to metal about 8 chains on the said Lake Alice Eoad, and proposing to levy a Special Bate within the Pukepapa No. 2 Special Eating District in order to provide for the payment of principal, interest and other charges in respect of such loan. Loan to be for a period of 36J years.
