CINEMA. On Saturday night the first two episodes of the great “Master Key” serial picture werel f screened and were well received by the large audience present. The picture fis quite out of the ordinary run and'eontains some most thrilling and incidents as was evidenced by the ship burned at sea with the sailors jumping from the]! yardarms overboard, the ultimate blowing up and sinking of the boat, and the >miraculous escape from death of the mine-owner’s daughter from a runaway ballast truck. The serial j will he continued on each .‘Friday 1 and Saturday, when a further episode will be presented. To-morrow evening the remarkable drama “The Grind” will be screened. The picture is a true story of the life of the average work girl of to-day* and is one that will make a lasting impression on all who see it. Featuring Pauline Bush and Kay Gallaher, the acting is superb, and the photography beautiful. The supporting items include some very funny comics, an interesting film entitled “Observations in China,” and the usual official war film, etc. Prices are as usual.
