The Pacific Cable Board received for the year ending March 81st £83,947 and expenses £145,261; This is the first time a profit has been recorded. Annuity payments are £88,601, leaving £7915 made np by the Imperial and Dominion Governments. Sixty Samonas have arrived from exile at Saipm Island and will probably be sent to New Zealand for repatriation.
