Russia’s armies have all the winter to recuperate and the whole of Russia is occupied in incessantly turning out arms and munitions, while there is an increasing flow of munitions from the Allies and neutral States. A correspondent in Peking says it has been discovered that Germans in China are sending, in the false bottoms of trunks, from Shanghai to India, proclamations written in Arabic, and signed by the Sultan of Turkey, calling on the Moslems to embark on a holy war against Britain and her Allies. —Times and Sydney Sun Special Cables.
