MARTON SCHOOL GARDEN FETE.

The Marton District High School Committee haA r e decided to celebrate the breaking-up of the school for Christmas holidays by holding a garden fete on the Marton Park on Wednesday, 16th December. The fete will he arranged on the same lines as the garden fete so successfully carried out at Overton recently. Side shows and competitions will be conducted by willing helpers, besides a Maypole dance, physical drill and other novel competitions. School children will he admitted free to the Park, adults will he charged sixpence for entrance, and everybody will be charged 6d for afternoon tea. A meeting of ladies interested in the garden party will be held in the Coronation Hall, on Thursday afternoon,.at 3.30 o’clock.
