STOCK REPORT. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report: At our Feildiug sale on Friday, 27th inst., we have to report having a very good yarding of both sheep and cattle, all of which changed hands at the following prices Small mixed yearlings 80s to 80s, yearling heifers to £3 18s, yearling steers to £8 os 6d, forward cows £5 2s 6d to £4 11s 6d, light fat cows £5 10s to £6 ss, fat cows £8 to £8 7s Gd, light fat bullocks to £lO ss, small 2 tooths 9s 6d to 13s, 3 tooth wethers 13s od to 15s lid, extra good 2 tooth wethers to 17s 4d, 2 tooth.ewes to 14s 9d, fat shorn ewes to 19s.

FEILDING MARKET REPORT

A medium entry of poultry and a small one of pigs came forward to the weekly sale held by A. H. Atkinson and 00., Ltd., on Friday. For the former the inquiry was very limited and prices showed a decline in consequence; pigs were more in demand than last week with a sympathetic rise in value. A quantity of produce, furniture and sundries were also quitted. Quotations:— Poultry at per pair: Hens Is to 4s, roosters 2s to 4s, ducks 4s to 5s 6d, ducklings Sd, chicks Is to 2s 6d, turkey hens 10s 6d. Pigs: Weaners 9s 6d to 17s 9d, porfiers 31s (id to 40s. Horses: Aged mare 16s, spring carter £lO, rubber * tyred gig and harness £B3, gig £8 10s, circular saw and bench £4 2s 6d. Potatoes, new 14s to 15s per cwt, 8s to 9s bag lots, old 8s per sack. Lettuce Id each, tomato plants 9d per dozen.

WOOL, SKIN AND HIDE SALE,

Loan and Mercantile report:—At our Wellington sale on Friday last, there w.as a large attendance of buyers, when we offered a quantity ot bag wool and a good catalogue of skeepskius, hides and calfskins and a small quantity of tallow and fat. Wool sold well at late rates, hides and calfskins were keenly competed for, but sheepskins were a little easier and may be quoted at to per lb lower. We obtained up to 12%d for calfskins. The following range of prices were obtained: — Sheepskins:—Halfbred Dd to fine crossbred B%d to 9d. medium coarse crossbred 8d to 9d, short to half wools 5%d to Bd, dead and damaged crossbred 8d to inferior and badly damaged Id to 4d, lambs 6%d to 7%d, damp, saPed and green 4s 6d to 7s .lid, pelts do. Is lOd to 2s sd, lambs Is 7d to 3s 2d. Murray, Roberts and Co., Ltd., reports;—We submitted on Friday a catalogue of 4000 sheepskins, 500 hides and calf skins, and a fair quantity of wool ;in bags, also tallow. There was a large attendance of buyers and bidding was brisk. Prices were fully maintained for hides, but sheepskins hardly brought the extreme price recorded last sale, being a farthing easier on the average. Following is the range of jirices realised: — Sheepskins. —Half bred 9d to per lb, fine crossbred B%d to 94, medium coarse crossbred 8d to 9d, short to half wools 5%d to 8d dead and damaged crossbred 8d to inferior and badly damaged Id to 4d, lambs to 7%d, damp slated and green 4s (id to 7s lid each, pelts salted and green Is ;S lod to Sis od each, lambs Is 7d to 2s 2d.
