STOCK REPORTS. Daigety and Co. report having held a very successful clearing sale on account of Mr T. Carson at his homestead, Raugiotu, on Tuesday, 14th lustant. Quotations; —Mixed age ewes in lamb 20s 9cl, small mixed hoggets IBs Bd, Flock Book Romney ewes 3gus to 2- ! q'gns, Romney rams 3>£gns to heifers £3 ss, cull mixed weaners 265, weaner heifers £2 Bs, J ear bullocks to £8 14s 6d, bulls £B 2s 6d to £5 12s 6d, store cows £3 16s, forward cows £4 12s 6d, backward dairy cows to £6 10s, medium cows £7 to £7 10s, very fair cows £8 to £9 15s, best cows to £ll 15s, 5 year old mares £22 to £24. A large quantity of sundries sold at full market rates, a dairy sale on account of Mr J. H. Gibbs was held at his homstead, Fern Flats, Martou, on Wednesday, 15th instant. The cows were rather low in condition, and being backward calvers did not meet with keen competition, the prices only ranging to £8 10s. MOwer £6 12s 6d, hay rake £5 10s, spring dray £ls. - ,Dalgetj 7 and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having held their usual sale at Marton on the IBth iust., when they offered a fair yarding of sheep to a large attendance of buyers. Quotations as follows: Small 2 tooth ewes in lamb to Romney rams 19s 9d, 4 and 5 year ewes in lamb to Southdown rams 2Bs, empty ewes 14s 6d, store cows poor condition £1 12s 6d.

Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on Marton sale, held last Tuesday. We had a heavy yarding, stock coming forward in more than advertised numbers. We have to report a good sale, especially for medium hoggets. We quote—Mixed hoggets 16s 6d to 17s lid, medium ditto 18s 7d to 14s lid, cull ditto 10s 4d to 12s sd, wether hoggets 16s to His 9d, medium ditto 14s 9d to 15s 6d, small ewe hoggets 14s 6d to 16s 3d, empty ewes 14s to 15s 2d, for ward 16s 8d to 17s, fat do. 20s 2d, 3 tooth wethers 21s 9d, tm. ewes in lamb 14s lOd to 17s 6d, 4 and 5 year ditto good to Shropshire xams 23s Id; springing heifers £5 to £5 10s, heifers in milk £6 10s, forward cows £4 14s to £3 ss, yearling steers £3, weaner steers 325, fat heifers to £6 38s.
