Dr. McLean, bacteriologist, and Mr Hurjey, photographer, with the Mawson expedition, have returned to Sydney. Dr. McLean added few details to what is already known. He said the story was a long one and it was not for him to tell it. When Mawson’a book came out they would read the whole thing, • Amongst other Important discoveries were nests of Antarctic petrels never before,found, six Ross seals, and a very rare species of whale. By dredging many rare new specimens were obtained.
