A conference was held this morning between the Hons. Massey and Rhoden and representatives of Auckland and Wellington Chambers of Commerce, and the Union Shipping Co. regarding the San Francisco and Vancouver mail (service The discuss!cent red round a flat rate for the ceplage of dairy produce from ail Zealand ports, more refrig-er>-.li■ p r-paoe on steamers trading between New Zealand, San Francisco and Vanr.ouver, and an alteration in booking ahead for spaed. The result is that a representative of the Union Oomuany is to meet a representative of the Chambers of Commerce and thrash out the details with them.
