London, March 3
Mr Bonar Law, Leader of the Opposition, at question time, intimated that financial business would be accelerated if the Government undertook to introduce the modifications in the Home Rule Bill, which had been promised, directly ths necessary finance business was aompieted. Mr Asquith replied giving an undertaking to that effect. Owing to recruits at Belfast exceeding 100,000, ineffioients are being weeded out, and formed into a corps of stretcher-bearers and ambulance units. A dozen aeroplanes have been offered. Squadrons are being organised for the succour of the wounded.
