METROPOLITAN SHOW.
Readers will note from our columns that entries for the butter fat competition in connection w ith the Spring Show close on 27th inst. This competition always commands a great deal of interest. The prize money offered is liberal amounting to £lO yearly with the Association’s medal for winner. A further ‘£2s is offered for anyone winning the competition three times not necessarily in succession. The Association has arranged for the safe custody of all cows entered with splendid paddocking under the care of an expert dairyman, so that competitors need not be under any apprehension as to the treatment their, beasts will obtain. Further details may be obtained from the Show secretary, Mr W. T. Penny, Palmerston North.
