OIL STEADIER AFIRE.

She has on 'board three thousand tons of crude oil which is burning. The whole city is lit by the glare of the fire. The boats worked- all night fearing an explosion but it is hoped to sink the vessel before this occurs. Thousands of people lined the water front gazing at the remarkable spectacle. The origin of the outbreak is believed to be a spark generated by the accidental colliding of two tin oilcans. The crew have escaped.
