Mr Barnes, speaking at Glasgow, said the Labour Party had lost the seat.at Chesterfield. It could afford the logs of one or two of the same sort as those who, like Mr Kenyon, were not prepared to support the Labour Party as a separate entity, regarding it as a mere adjunct to the Liberal Party. It was better to get outside and associate with those with whom there was greater sympathy.
