A statement issued by the Minister of Public Health, impresses on the travelling public ; .the necessity of vaccination, especially in the case of those leaving Auckland He warns vaocinees to secure certificates to save themselves_ inconvenience He declares that it may be necessary 'for Government at any moment to take further' precautions to prevent the spread of the epidemic. This official warning is generally regarded, though it is not officially stated as hinting at the possibility of isolating Auckland to the extent of allowing no one tp leave who is unvaooinated or who, cannot produce a certificate of vaccination. The hulk which was alongside the Delphio, whose quartermaster developed smallpox, has been isolated. The Delphic leaves* for the Bluff.this afternoon, completing her isolation period at sea. Wellington, A ugust 29 The following bulletin was issued to-night:— The district health officer for Auckland reports that one case is reported from Orakei. ~Six are suspected at Matapihi. One is reported from Mangamuta, in the Hokianga country, and two from Ruakataoa. Tauranga, August 29. Two additional' cases were discovered at Matapihi -on Tuesday, and three yesterday.*. One was reported from Otumoetai. The Matapihi cases were hidden by the natives until search was made by the' health officer and the police. _._;
